2013 Cross Country

2013 Cross Country

The 2013 cross country season is finally over! Sullivan had two teams- the Grade 8 Girls and the Junior Girls(9-10), and they were both amazing this season. On October 23, the Grade 8 Girls ran 3 km at the Fraser Valley Championships in Abbotsford, and placed 2nd overall in the Grade 8 Girls team standings in all of the Fraser Valley.

On Saturday, November 2, the Grade 8 Girls and the Junior Girls both participated in the BC High School Championships at Aldergrove Lake Park. The whole course was 4.3 km and it was pouring rain! 4 out of the 6 runners were Grade 8s, who were running against the Junior Girls and on a longer course. They were all awesome and placed 13th overall as a team in all of BC. Great job everyone!
