After trailing 5-2 in the 2nd period, the Vancouver Canucks came from behind and finished the regular season with a 6-5 overtime win against the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday, ending the season with an outstanding 101 points. This was an important game for both Ryan Miller, as he was out for six weeks with a sprained knee, and for rookie forward Sven Baertschi, whom the Canucks acquired last month, and he certainly proved his worth scoring two goals on two shots- one of which tied up the score in the third period to send the game into overtime, where Alexander Edler scored the winning goal with assists from both the Sedins to win the game. The Canucks will now move on to face the Calgary Flames, who finished with 97 points, in the first round of the playoffs at Rogers Arena. Their first game will be on Wednesday, April 15th, and then games will be played every other day. Who will you be cheering for?
